Usher in the new year, consciously. We will gather for an all organic seasonal meal, in my Oceanside Perfume Studio. Let's plan to open the year gently, with some walking meditation on the bluffs, and then some yummy brunch.
We will discuss intention, resolutions, visioning, and then create a scent journey to support this for the first six weeks of the new year. Astrological aspects for this time will be discussed.
You will take home a scent trio of minis for the new year....See more

Description of exhibit
We are proud to present the final show in our four-part exhibition at Berkeley’s vibrant community art space, The Subterranean Art House. This presentation features Sherrod Blankner, Jane Norling and Matthew Silverberg.
Sherrod Blankner paints sensuous rural vistas and burned-out cityscapes whose buildings she finds exude human emotions.
Jane Norling brings her love of powerful land formations marked by human survival into lyrical abstract paintings and
metal-print digital compositions.
metal-print digital compositions.
Matthew Silverberg presents themes of megacities, post abstract expressionism and exploration
of digital techniques in digitally-enhanced prints and “traditional” but “wild-color” paintings.
The 1030 Art Group is comprised of 12 mid-career and emerging Bay Area artists who are pushing the boundaries between digital and traditional arts by using a wide variety
of techniques including photography, sculpture, painting, textiles, mathematics, collage, software and alternative printing surfaces.

This Sunday Dec. 8th
I'll be reviewing some of the information from two weeks ago on what
constitutes full-fledged mindfulness, with its associated healthy and
beneficial mind states.
Then together we will inquire into how we know
whether or not we are mindful, how we can create the conditions for
mindfulness to arise, and what it feels like when it is there.
Bring
your personal (or universal!) practice questions and insights to share.
with warmth,

Liturgical music is a sacred art form. We are mandated by the church to use only live music, not recordings. Our challenge is to recreate the sounds envisaged by the composer through the medium of printed notation to lift the soul of the worshipper to a higher plane. The music that we perform is of the same quality as the arts forms found in our national art galleries and museums.
